Each morning we should do three things to put the ‘awesome’ into our thinking, our posture and our attitude.
1. Think of three things you are truly grateful for in your life. Not just think about them, but grab them, embrace them and see them.
2. Look in a mirror and smile. Researchers find that the positive chemicals released into our body, by this simple but difficult act, are amazing, and
3. Put some awesome thoughts into our mind. That’s why these quotations are important. Read them, pick your favourites and print each one you like on an A4 piece of paper. Now the hard part. Pin each quotation in a place where you can see it, look at it and reflect on its meaning. You can do this in your bathroom, kitchen, car and office.
1. “There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether its positive or negative.” W. Clement Stone
2. “We become what we think about.” Earl Nightingale
3. “The real secret to success is enthusiasm.” Walter Chrysler
4. “Outstanding people have one thing in common: an absolute sense of mission.” Zig Ziglar
5. “It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up.” Babe Ruth
6. “Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.” John Wooden
7. “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right.” Henry Ford
8. “Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive about what could go right.”
9. “Attempt the impossible in order to improve your work.”
10.“Believing in yourself is the first secret of success.”
Fantastic, powerful, challenging words. You can just read them and say to yourself “That’s great”. Or you can select one for the day or even the whole week. Repeat it to yourself frequently and let it become part of the inner you. That’s your challenge for that is where and when real change happens.
